For new application

An email containing the URL of the application page will be sent to the email address registered on the oversized garbage application page, so please proceed with the procedure. If you have an email filter set, please set it in advance so that you can receive emails from the domain "@shinjuku-sodai.com".

For change or cancel of registered application

Please check with the "page for application inquiry" for change and review on your application. The URL and login method are noted in the text of email sent at the time of sign up your application. Please call at Bulky waste reception center for more detail. Please note reissuance and renotification of the reference number are not available.

Precautions for online application

For online application, up to 10 items can be registered per each application. Please call at Bulky waste reception center for more than 10 items of bulky waste.

*Storage facilities are nearing capacity due to a fire accident at a bulky waste crushing facility. Please consider reusing furniture, etc. that you no longer need, and refrain from disposing of bulky garbage as much as possible. We also ask for your cooperation in properly separating small rechargeable batteries such as lithium-ion batteries used in small cordless home appliances.

Items for which applications as bulky garbage cannot be submitted in alignment with the Home Appliance Recycling Act (televisions, refrigerators, air-conditioners, washing machines, etc.)

The following items, which are subject to the Home Appliance Recycling Law, cannot be collected as oversized garbage.

The items subject to PC Recycling Act

Based on the Law for the Promotion of Effective Utilization of Resources, it cannot be collected as oversized garbage as it will be recycled by the manufacturer.

The items that are not accepted regarded as inappropriate disposable waste

Cars (including batteries and other parts such as muffler), motorcycle (includes other parts such as battery), automotive tires, piano, fireproof safe, concrete masonry unit, fire extinguishers, gas cylinder
Please contact the retailer or Waste management office for unknown items.

The items that are difficult for collection

More than 2m10cm in length.
The items that are thicker than 30cm or more (such as tree trunks）.

For other following cases are not available.

The item(s) without the waste ticket.
The item(s) with the other city's waste ticket.
The item(s) with the insufficient amount of fee.

For disposing business-related bulky waste

Oversized garbage generated by business activities cannot be collected. Please contact the Shinjuku Waste Management Office (03-3950-2923) to introduce a collection company.

Burnable garbage, metal/ceramic/glass garbage

Oversized items that are less than 30 cm square are not oversized garbage. Please dispose of as combustible garbage or metal/ceramic/glass garbage.

Persons who fall under the following categories can have their waste carried out and collected by workers.
Applications cannot be made online, so please contact the Oversized Garbage Collection Center (03-5957-7871).
